Waterways Ireland have announced they are going to be investing €12.5m over the next 7 years which will see the delivery of 172 serviced houseboat moorings on the canals.
Kay Baxter, President of The Inland Waterways Association of Ireland, commented “This is excellent news and is in line with our liveaboard policy developed in 2021 where we proposed extensive development of serviced liveaboard berths.”
